ROLE EXPECTATIONS

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Administer employee benefits programs such as group health, dental, vision, life insurance, short/long-term disability, retirement plans (e.g., 401(k)), and wellness initiatives.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of benefits and leave of absence programs, including enrollments, terminations, and updates.
  • Act as an expert on LOA cases and accommodations, including federal and state-mandated regulations
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, and COBRA.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and Legal teams to align benefits programs with organizational goals.
  • Complete all regular and mandatory reporting and filings, including ACA, 401k Non-Discrimination Testing, EEOC, etc
  • Conduct audits of benefits plans and invoices to ensure accuracy and cost control
  • Partner with third-party vendors, brokers, and consultants to optimize benefits program administration and performance.
  • Explore and implement new technologies to enhance employee experience
  • Coordinate benefits enrollment and open enrollment processes, including communication, documentation, and system updates.
  • Support employee education and training on benefits offerings through presentations, written materials, and one-on-one assistance.
  • Consult on contracts and manage relationships to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position will oversee a HR Generalist and HR Concierge

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources with prior experience managing benefits and leaves programs
  • Minimum of two (2) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong organizational skills, solution-oriented, and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • High computer proficiency, including the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and relevant operational software.
  • Bachelor’ Degree or equivalent work experience .
  • At least 21 years of age.

PREFERRED

  • SHRM or HCI Certification.
  • Proficient in using Workday HCM and Benefits
  • Experience working in a similar resort setting.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to work under time constraints and within established deadlines.
  • Must regularly lift and/move up to 10 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Work is performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment and exposed to various environmental factors such as but not limited to noise, dust and smoke.

PAY RANGE

  • The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $80,000
