School Social Worker – Full-Time Contract
Location: Near Castle Rock, CO
Pay: $54/hour (local) or $2,267/week (travel, including stipends)
Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, Monday–Friday

Amergis is seeking a compassionate and experienced School Social Worker to join a collaborative educational team near Castle Rock, Colorado. In this full-time contract role, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ emotional, behavioral, and social well-being while helping them access the services they need to succeed.
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students with social, emotional, and behavioral needs
Provide input in the development of Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Deliver direct social work services to students and families
Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community resources
Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
Contract Details
Local Rate: $54/hour
Travel Rate: $2,267/week (includes stipends and full benefits)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for a Colorado Department of Education SSP License with a School Social Worker Endorsement
Experience: Special education experience required
Minimum Requirements
Professional Educator License with School Social Worker (SSW) endorsement (as required by state or district)
MSW or LCSW may be required depending on state or contract
CPR certification (if applicable)
TB test or chest X-ray (if applicable)
Current health certificate (if required by contract or state)
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
