Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician to join a full-time, clinic-based practice. This role involves providing comprehensive reproductive healthcare to women, managing prenatal and postnatal care, performing deliveries, and addressing a range of gynecological conditions. The position also includes opportunities for leadership and mentorship, with occasional weekend and on-call responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO)
- At least 3 years of experience in both Gynecology and Obstetrics
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Current and valid licenses/certifications in the state of California:
- Medical Doctor (MD) License
- DEA Registration
- Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) Certification
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including routine exams, prenatal care, labor and delivery, and postnatal follow-up
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and manage chronic diseases
- Deliver both outpatient and inpatient medical care
- Ensure accurate medical charting and documentation
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and healthcare team on patient management and clinic operations
- Participate in clinic policy development and service improvement initiatives
- Serve as a preceptor for medical and advanced practice provider students
- Support and help implement patient-centered, community-based care models
- Rotate between clinic locations as needed
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to quality improvement efforts
- Be available for on-call coverage approximately 56 days per month
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday Friday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM or 9:00 AM6:00 PM
- Occasional weekends and on-call duties required
