.NET Application Programmer

Job Location: Baton Rouge, LA (Onsite)

Note: Candidates must be currently local within a commutable distance. The manager is not interested in candidates who will need to relocate to accept the offer.

Job Description:

The State of Louisiana is seeking a .NET Application Programmer with expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in web application development, performance monitoring, and supporting Department of Public Safety (DPS) projects.

• Develop web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and HTML. (5+ years)
  
• Design, code, test, debug, and document new and existing web applications. (5+ years)
  
• Perform quality assurance reviews and testing on new code. (5+ years)
  
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, design sessions, and team meetings. (2+ years)
  
• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and mentorship to state personnel. (5+ years)
  
• Monitor and enhance performance of software applications. (5+ years)
  
• Work on Department of Public Safety (DPS) projects. (2+ years)
