Maverc Technologies is looking for a dedicated and skilled Enterprise Application Integration Engineer to support our state agency customers in navigating the complexities of modern data integration. As part of our team, you will leverage your expertise to create seamless integration solutions that enhance operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity. This role combines technical proficiency with a proactive approach toward problem-solving and collaboration.

THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION: MINIMUM of 3 DAYS A WEEK ON-SITE



Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to assess the impact of the Florida PALM implementation on existing interfaces.
  • Develop strategic plans to transition legacy systems to modern integrations using technologies such as Informatica and Microsoft .NET.
  • Identify and document data input and output requirements for various departmental computing systems interfacing with the Department of Financial Services FLAIR.
  • Design, implement, and test data integration processes ensuring data integrity and financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand financial data requirements and create extensive financial data models.
  • Research, select, and implement the most suitable data integration tools focused on security, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Construct and execute robust testing plans to guarantee the functionality and reliability of integration solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to internal staff regarding best practices in using Informatica tools.
  • Create thorough documentation on data integration processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Support the reporting remediation team in fulfilling data requirements for specific projects.
  • Participate actively in SCRUM ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning sessions.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with FTP and SFTP protocols.
  • Solid understanding of advanced topics in systems integration, such as Web APIs and Data Streams.
  • Knowledge of data encryption techniques and their importance.
  • Experience using an ETL tool, preferably Informatica, and proficiency in relational databases.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data transformation and cleansing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Prior experience with Agile methodologies and SCRUM framework.

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in place of a degree.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in system integrations and/or ETL processes is required, with demonstrable experience in using integration tools like Informatica and Microsoft SSIS.
